Importer
Martine's Wine
Martine Saunier founded Martine's Wines in 1979 and helped create the American market for serious French wine, introducing this country to Henri Jayer, Domaine Leroy and Château Rayas and standing as the first American woman importer of the modern era. In 2012 she hand-selected Gregory Castells and Kate Laughlin to buy the company and carry it forward. The portfolio remains France-centered, with Italy and Portugal alongside.
