Barbara Lebled is based in the Touraine region of the Loire Valley, working under her estate name Tchin Cheers. Introduced to the Louis/Dressner portfolio through her father, vigneron Laurent Lebled, Barbara launched her own independent winemaking project with the 2019 vintage. Operating out of Châtillon-sur-Cher, she manages 2.5 hectares of organically farmed vines planted in silicious clay and limestone soils, primarily growing varieties such as Gamay and Côt (Malbec). Embracing a low-intervention philosophy aligned with her family's roots, she declassifies her wines to Vin de France and bottles them unfined, unfiltered, and without added sulfur dioxide to produce vibrant, expressive, and playful natural wines.
