Founded in the 1960s in the town of Gan, this small southwestern French estate has undergone a significant revitalization under the current ownership of Michel Boutin. By implementing extensive upgrades to the winery and cellar, Boutin has focused his efforts on the Jurançon region’s signature Petit and Gros Manseng varieties, culminating in the successful 2022 release of his inaugural vintage. The estate’s steeply sloped vineyards face the Pyrenees mountains and feature silty clay over sandstone soils, a unique terroir that allows these exotic, under-the-radar grapes to flourish. The resulting dry white wines are distinctive and full-bodied, characterized by a savory, floral profile with complex notes of apricot, quince, beeswax, and honey.
