Jean Cavé is a well-established French Armagnac producer founded in 1883 in Lannepax, France, within the Armagnac appellation area. They are known for their traditional production methods, using locally-grown grapes and copper stills, and aging their Armagnacs in local oak barrels. The company is now in its fourth generation, led by Henry Cavé, and boasts a wide range of Armagnacs, including single vintage and blended varieties, many of which are very old.
