After losing his job as a wood merchant during the 2008 recession, Laurent Lebled was encouraged by childhood friends and vignerons Sébastien Bobinet and Patrick Corbineau to transition into winemaking, leading him to assist Bobinet through the 2009 vintage and release his debut "À la Vôtre" cuvée in 2010. Starting with no family background in viticulture, Lebled initially rented 1.7 hectares of vines in Saint-Aignan while operating out of a cellar over an hour away in Savigny-en-Véron, where he added a half-hectare of local Cabernet Franc. He focused his production on sulfur-free, carbonically macerated natural wines, eventually expanding in 2019 by purchasing a local cellar and 10 hectares of 30- to 60-year-old vines—including Sauvignon Blanc, Gamay, Pinot Noir, Menu Pineau, and Cabernet Franc—in Châtillon-sur-Cher alongside his wife Sonya, while retaining key parcels like Picasses to further refine his evolving vinifications.
