Guided by the credo "Grown, not made," the Potzinger family has been cultivating ancient vines and producing legendary wines in Styria since the 16th century. To solidify their presence in these premier vineyard sites, the family established a dedicated vintners' house in Ratsch in 1860, a tradition that continues today under the stewardship of Stefan and Heidi Potzinger. The couple remains committed to producing natural, hand-picked, traditional Styrian wines, with a particular focus on their most prestigious holding: the Riede Sulz vineyard. This historic site has been renowned for its exceptional output since 1208, serving as the cornerstone of the estate's long-standing viticultural heritage.
