Vino di Fognano is a family-run estate located in the Val Trebbia region of Emilia-Romagna, Italy. The Foppiani family has cultivated vines on their land for over 150 years, embracing organic farming practices since 1990. In 2017, Paolo Foppiani and his wife Giovanna began producing natural wines from their 2.5-hectare vineyard, focusing on indigenous grape varieties such as Malvasia di Candia Aromatica and Ortrugo. Their wines are crafted with minimal intervention, featuring skin-contact fermentation, no filtration, and minimal sulfur addition, reflecting the authentic character of their terroir.
