Bon Vivant Imports began in 2005, when Brad Jensen and Laura Kent-Jensen came home from five years in Barcelona and started importing the wines of growers who had become friends. Spain came first, then Italy, Portugal, Slovenia and France. They work with small family producers who farm their own vineyards, often for generations, and back sustainable and organic agriculture whether certified or not. The standard they set is natural wine with no excuses — character and vibrancy intact, without flaws that throw off the balance. National sales manager Bryan Hinschberger carries the book across the country.
